Over the past several months, pop sensation Taylor Swift has become the most famous Kansas City Chiefs fan on the planet after she began dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and started attending games in support of him. Naturally, Chiefs team owner Clark Hunt was quite happy to have her aboard the team’s bandwagon.
During a recent speech, Clark Hunt had a clear message for Taylor Swift about just how happy he was to have her join the Chiefs’ fanbase as he revealed that he and his family have been big fans of hers for “a very long time.”
“What an amazing storyline that was this past year,” Hunt said in his speech according to The Spun. “First of all, we’re so happy for Travis and Taylor, what a great couple. My family’s been big fans of hers for a very long time, so it’s now nice to have her as big fans of the Chiefs.”
Swift attended 13 games throughout the season in support of Kelce all the way up to the Super Bowl LVIII victory over the San Francisco 49ers, which she flew in from Tokyo to attend.
The Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce relationship timeline began when Kelce attended Swift’s Eras Tour at Arrowhead Stadium on July 8, 2023. A couple of weeks later, Kelce revealed on his New Heights podcast that he tried unsuccessfully to give a friendship bracelet and his phone number to Swift. After a few months of rumors, Kelce confirmed the budding relationship on his podcast, and Swift attended one of his games, beginning the public portion of their relationship.
Since then, Swift has become an integral part of the Chiefs community.
Over the past few months, Kelce and Swift clearly formed a strong bond, and it sure sounds like Swift is ready to get married and he has reportedly even been shopping for rings.
