Taylor Swift has become well-known for her generosity toward her fans. Heading during the Christmas season, she once again put that generosity on display for a fan in the hospital.
Earlier this month, Taylor Swift paid a visit to Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City where she met a teen patient by the name of Naya.
During their meeting, Naya paid a compliment to the pop sensation, calling her outfit “tea.”
“Yes, everything about it. Your hair!” Naya said.
Swift clearly appreciated the compliment, telling Naya that she “made my day” with the compliment.
During their initial interaction, Naya asked Swift where she got the outfit. At the time, Swift avoided telling her that it was a $4,500 set from the designer brand Miu Miu, but she made sure that Naya got to look good, too.
Shortly after her visit, Taylor sent Naya a special gift, giving her the exact same Miu Miu outfit that she liked so much.
“When you asked where I got it, I purposely didn’t tell you because I had a plan :),” Swift explained in a handwritten note she included with the package. “Picked you up a few things I hope you’ll think are tea. Ha. … Merry Christmas! Love, Taylor.”
Obviously, this is some pretty insane generosity and thoughtfulness from the pop sensation, and the news led to a lot of reactions on social media.
“It is so nice to see a young lady who has made it in life care about others. Taylor, don’t ever change. And the people who like to criticize are jealous or a person that can never. be happy. I’ve been on God’s green earth for 71 years, and that story gave me a warm heart,” one fan wrote in the comments on NewsBreak.
“I’m not a Swift fan by any means, but this was awesome. For someone with ‘celebrity status’ remember one person from a brief interaction, I think says something. Regardless of whether or not you’re a fan, you have to admit it was a very thoughtful gesture. You don’t see many celebs visiting sick children,” someone else added.
“Love Taylor. Such a kind generous human,” another person wrote.
“She is such a nice person,” someone else added.
“This was really special what you did. It brought true tears to my eyes and I have so much respect and adoration for you right now. Thank you for bringing so much happiness to that child. God bless you,” another person wrote.

Hopefully, the girl appreciates the outfit on her as much as she appreciated it on Taylor.
