Over the past several months, Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce have formed a strong relationship and have become perhaps the most famous couple on the planet as people suggest that they could be headed for marriage. But apparently, Swift was afraid they would never get to this point.
According to an inside source for Us Weekly, Taylor Swift was “worried” that the public attention Travis Kelce received after dating her would “scare him away.”
“His life has changed significantly with the increased public attention,” an inside source told Us Magazine. “Taylor was worried that bringing Travis into her world would scare him away, but he embraced it and handled it so well.”
While Kelce was obviously not scared away completely, there were some issues as he adapted to the newfound fame.
“People would show up at his house and leave things on his doorstep,” a second source told the outlet. “It kind of freaked him out at first. He didn’t feel safe.”
At this point, however, Kelce seems to have fully adapted and acclimated to her superstar lifestyle and the pair seem to be navigating their relationship quite well.
We’ll have to see how it all progresses.
