Ever since global pop superstar Taylor Swift began dating Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce, she has received a lot of criticism for the amount of attention that she has been receiving from the NFL. But prominent sports commentator Colin Cowherd thinks that’s a ridiculous thing to complain about.
During a recent episode of his show The Herd on FS1, Colin Cowherd absolutely blasted anyone who has a problem with the amount of attention Taylor Swift has received this year.
“There’s a lot of really weird, lonely, insecure men out there,” Cowherd said on his show, according to Awful Announcing. “The fact that a pop star — the world’s biggest pop star — is dating a star tight end who had one of his greatest games ever, and the network puts them on the air briefly, then it bothers you, what does that say about your life?”

Cowherd also pointed out that male celebrities don’t receive anywhere near the same criticism that she does when they attend games.
“Drake is on everything; Spike Lee, Knicks games, Eminem, Michigan sporting events. We celebrate it. Eighties, ’90s, Jack Nicholson Lakers games? It’s cool. But a talented and beautiful woman is on the air — one who would never pay attention to lonely men — and it bothers them.”
Cowherd’s words generated a lot of conversation on social media.
