Kirk Cousins was benched today, despite being the PERFECT fit for Washington’s offense. (Please note the sarcasm.)
Colt McCoy came in for Cousins and proceeded to toss a 70-yard touchdown pass. Sure, the ball was only thrown six or seven yards down the field and Pierre Garcon did the rest, but still, McCoy had himself a pretty decent game, going 11 of 12 for 128 yards, one touchdown and zero picks. And Washington managed to knock off the MIGHTY Titans at home.
Still, after the game, McCoy was put in his place by a reporter.
That’s Colt, not Kirk, McCoy.
