Steve Smith, once the “face of the franchise” for the Carolina Panthers, was cut by the Panthers over the offseason. And since Smith has a chip on his shoulder that makes mountains look small (after he was cut, he vowed if he played the Panthers there would be “blood and guts everywhere“), it should come as no surprise that Smith is already putting Carolina on blast.
The Baltimore Ravens (and Steve Smith) are set to play the Carolina Panthers on September 28th, the fourth week of NFL action. In his first game as a Raven, Smith had a great game as he caught seven passes for 115 yards and one touchdown. Of course, he let his old team have it using a few carefully chosen (and carefully edited) choice words.

Suddenly, the proclamation of “blood and guts everywhere” seems less like a threat and more like an inevitability.
