During their time together with the Buffalo Bills, Stefon Diggs and Josh Allen did not always seem to have the best relationship, at least from the outside looking in. But as Diggs now moves on from Buffalo and joins the Houston Texans, he has nothing but positive words for his former teammate.
During a recent press conference with the Texans, Stefon Diggs made it very clear that he has “a lot of love” for Josh Allen, calling him an important “piece to my career.”
“When I left Minnesota, I was a good player,” Diggs said according to DJ Bien-Aime of ESPN. “But I always felt more for myself. I felt like I was better than that, and that I could be better than that. And kind of up to that point, I was just like, ‘[Man], I’m going to roll the dice and bet on myself.’
“When I got to Buffalo, Josh was and still is my guy. People don’t really understand what it’s like to be out there. He really embraced me. We spent a lot of time together, and I probably wouldn’t be right here if it wasn’t for him.”
Obviously, these words led to a lot of reactions on social media.
It would be foolish not to acknowledge that. They both help each other’s career.

If he had "a lot of love," explain me his meltdown on the sidelines and his dropped pass against KC that would've won us the game. Diggs needs to touch grass lmao

Appreciate this a lot from Diggs, on field relationships can get weird due to competitors being competitors. As things went pretty cool move to give him the love they showed in the beginning here.

He's got a little distance now fr his frustrating last months w/ Buffalo. He's done a little self-reflection and is now moving to the next stage of his career where he's in a receiver room where he's now 2nd-oldest. DeMeco emphasizes leadership–vets teaching younger guys.

Diggs never put up fewer than 1,000 yards in a season with Allen as his quarterback in Buffalo.
