The Pittsburgh Steelers are on a major slide entering the playoffs. Pittsburgh has dropped four straight games heading into their wild-card round matchup with reigning MVP Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens.

Still, the Steelers players are brimming with confidence heading into Pittsburgh’s third matchup of the season with Baltimore, and one in particular is letting the Ravens know he isn’t worried as Saturday’s game draws nearer. Bishop was asked about the Steelers being nearly 10-point underdogs heading into the game.

“I don’t really look at that kind of stuff. I think that was their first time beating us in the last 10 games. So, no, you’re not really worried about that kind of stuff,” answered rookie cornerback Beanie Bishop who is emerging as a ball hawk for the defense.

Fans reacted to Bishop’s words on social media.

“Beanie why did you have to go on and say some trash talk!? Before you go and play the Ravens well that just spiked the drama up a bit,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“Boy you was there for 2 games. You won 1 an lost 1… watch what we do to y’all on Saturday,” one Ravens fan wrote.

“But that don’t matter because that all we needed to do was beat you now we kno we can and won’t be all timid wen we play it won’t be mental for us anymore so you might have awoken beast because the rivalry is about to end,” added another Ravens fan.

It’ll be interesting to see if Bishop has the play to back up his confidence in Saturday’s game.
