Pittsburgh Steelers’ offensive tackle Mike Adams was stabbed in an attempted robbery attempt on the South Side of the city. Adams was a 2nd round draft pick for the Steelers in 2012 out of Ohio State, starting 6 games and winning the teams Joe Greene Performance Award for best rookie.
The Steelers organization released the following statement:
We are aware of the situation regarding Mike Adams being stabbed earlier this morning,” Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert said. “We are in direct communication with both Mike and his family. Mike is expected to make a full recovery.
