Pittsburgh Steelers’ linebacker James Harrison is a bad, bad man. He is stronger than most players in the NFL but he may be stronger than most people in the world.
He exhibited that on Instagram by showing off part of his workout. The most impressive part of it all was when he pushed a sled with 1,800 pounds on it. That is like, nine of me (don’t double check me on that).
Can you even believe that? Watching it, it doesn’t seem real. It doesn’t belong in the real world, more in a Marvel movie.
At 39-years-old, he doesn’t show any signs of slowing down either. It feels like every offseason we discuss whether or not if Harrison is going to retire but he always plays. He doesn’t just play either, he plays at an elite level. As we continue to celebrate longevity in other sports, Harrison and the amount of hits he doles out is equal to all those other feats.
The Steelers are hoping to continue their reign of the AFC North and Harrison looks to continually be a part of it. As long as he is around, I wouldn’t bet against him.
