The Pittsburgh Steelers have been the surprise of the NFL this season. Despite being picked to finish last in the AFC North by most pundits, the Steelers are 9-3 and hold a one-and-a-half-game lead in the division heading into the weekend.
Unfortunately for the Steelers, they still haven’t clinched a spot in the playoffs, and there’s a major crunch lurking over the horizon that’s going to make winning games as difficult as it could possibly be.
The Steelers are slated to play three of the NFL’s best teams, the Philadelphia Eagles, Baltimore Ravens, and Kansas City Chiefs all in a ten-day span from December 15 to December 25.

Fans reacted to the brutal scheduling on social media.
“We always get really banged up right before the post season and this isn’t what we need again,” one fan said on Twitter.
“Kinda BS, these players need more time to recover,” one fan added.
“The NFL doesn’t like the Steelers It’s been very noticeable last few years. Look at the schedule this year,” added another person.
“This our team’s time to shine. Show everyone they belong at the top,” another fan added.
“good, mabye they will lose and the BALTIMORE RAVENS will claim FIRST PLACE,” added a Ravens fan.
“NFL trying to weaken the Steelers before they play the Chiefs smh,” one person wrote.
“This is sadly where the season will go off tbe rails because of injuries.. the nfl doesn’t care about player safety at all it’s sad,” added one fan.
It’ll be interesting to see how Pittsburgh handles the crunch.
