The Pittsburgh Steelers seem to be stuck in a perpetual cycle of mediocrity. After getting off to a promising start this season, the Steelers dropped their final four games of the regular season. The losses cost Pittsburgh control of the AFC North and forced the team to travel to Baltimore to face MVP frontrunner Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens in the divisional round.
After yet another season in which the Steelers have hovered the .500 mark, there are reports that a major change could be on the way.
“Adam Schefter says multiple teams could be calling Pittsburgh to trade for Mike Tomlin soon,” reported SteelerNation.

Fans reacted to the news on social media.
“Tomlin to the bears for their 1st Jaylon Johnson and a 2026 2nd. Sign fields to a 3 year deal. I would entertain trading watt too. With all the picks you go all in on a QB in 26,” wrote one fan as a plan for what he’d do moving forward if he was in charge.
“Even Pat Riley with the Lakers who was as successful as it gets had an expiration date. It’s time for a change of scenery. Not a Tomlin hater at all, actually thought he was a great coach but it’s time for a change,” one fan added.
“Too bad Art is stuck in the old ways of football. He won’t get rid of Tomlin, what do y’all think about Vrable? He might be a good head coach and big Ben’s always talking about how he wants to be involved in the Steelers somehow maybe he would be a good OC? idk but we change,” another fan added.
It’ll be interesting to see what happens if the Steelers fail to register a win in the playoffs.
