The Seattle Seahawks created a very special day and some unforgettable moments for one fan battling a life-threatening disease this summer.
Thanks to the Seahawks and the Make-A-Wish Foundation, 12-year old Seattle fan Kevin Lee got to spend a day with the Seahawks as they prepared for the upcoming season – getting to see the ‘Hawks facilities, hang out with players and coaches, and even sign his own contract with his favorite team.
Lee was born with pulmonary atresia with an intact ventricular septum (PAIVS), a rare heart condition in which the right ventricle doesn’t form, preventing the heart from supplying oxygenated blood to the lungs. His condition prevents him from playing contact sports, but it hasn’t stopped him from developing a love of football.
