As the 2024 NFL Draft approaches, the New York Jets figure to be one of the event’s more interesting teams.
Laying claim to the No. 10 overall pick, the Jets will have a number of intriguing options available to them as New York looks to make a Super Bowl run with Aaron Rodgers behind center.
One player who the Jets have been linked to in multiple mock drafts is Georgia tight end Brock Bowers, who is considered one of the top skill players in this year’s class. Taking to Instagram, one of New York’s best players seemingly showed support for the Jets potentially drafting Bowers, with Sauce Gardner sharing a video likening him to San Francisco 49ers star tight end George Kittle.
“I agree,” Gardner wrote over a highlight showcasing similar plays made by the two tight ends.

The idea of adding Bowers to a Jets offense that also includes not only Rodgers, but Garrett Wilson, Mike Williams and Breece Hall is certainly intriguing. In three seasons in Athens, the 6-foot-4, 240-pound tight end tallied 175 receptions for 2,538 yards and 26 touchdowns.
In addition to Bowers, other mock drafts have linked Gang Green to a number of offensive line prospects. We’ll find out how the Jets will use their first-round pick when the 2024 NFL Draft takes place on April 25.
