It may be the offseason, but this week was certainly not short on some drama between some rivals.
During a recent appearance on VladTV, Buffalo Bills offensive tackle Dion Dawkins had some pretty blunt words about how he feels about the New York Jets.
“I hate them, all of them, bro,” Dawkins said on the podcast according to ESPN. “When it comes to sports, there are people that play the sport because they love the sport. And then there’s people that play the sport just to try to be cool. I feel like they play the sport to try to be cool. Those are a bunch of dudes that just want to take pictures on Instagram. That’s whack.”
Those comments seemed to catch New York Jets superstar cornerback Sauce Gardner a bit off guard, as he offered his reaction to Dawkins’ words on social media.
I play this game because I love it and it takes care of my family. It also gives me a platform to inspire the youth. I have no “NFL beef“ with anybody. I didn’t know that was a thing til I just watched this video😂

“I play this game because I love it and it takes care of my family. It also gives me a platform to inspire the youth. I have no ‘NFL beef’ with anybody. I didn’t know that was a thing ’til I just watched this video,” Gardner said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.
These comments sure made any future matchup between the two teams pretty interesting.
