Saturday Night Live concluded its most-recent season over the weekend and they made sure to squeeze a few more jokes out of Tom Brady and ‘Deflategate’ for the season’s final Weekend Update.
The concept of Tom Brady (Taran Killam) having a silver tongue and charming his way out of every tough question is a fairly obvious way to go with a “Tom Brady interview” parody but it kind of misses the mark when one considers how awkward Tom Brady’s actual press conferences were following ‘Deflategate’ and how the public has seemingly turned against Brady in light of the findings in the Wells Report.
Still, one has to hand it Killam. He seems much more comfortable playing Tom Brady on ‘SNL’ than the real Tom Brady did during his guest appearance on the show.
