Russell Wilson has not lived in the Seattle area in over two years, but he and his wife Ciara have only just managed to sell their property there, and they made a pretty gigantic profit off of the sale.
According to a report from the Wall Street Journal, the couple has sold their house in the Seattle area for $21.25 million this week, which is in addition to just under $9 million that they already received for the lot next door.
“Former Seattle Seahawks star Russell Wilson and his wife, the singer Ciara, are slated to sell their house in Washington state for $21.25 million, according to a person familiar with the deal,” the Wall Street Journal reported.
“The lakefront home in Bellevue, about 10 miles from Seattle, is in contract and is slated to close in May, the person said. Coupled with the sale of an adjacent lot in 2022, that will bring the total sale price of their estate to $31 million.”
Given that the power couple paid $6.7 for the house back in 2015 and another $6.7 million for the lot next door in 2019, that means that the couple profited $17.6 million on the sale of the estate – more than they paid for it in the first place.
Certainly not a bad payday.
