ONE MORE UPDATE: Terry Collins has apologized.
Please disregard my recent tweet about the Raiders. These rumors haven’t been confirmed by the AP. I’m sorry.

I have no information about the status about the Raiders coach. I was never covering the story.

Well, this is a bit of a mess.
END OF THE SECOND UPDATE.
UPDATE: Terry Collins has deleted his Tweet regarding the firing of Dennis Allen.
And now, @APtcollins has deleted his tweet that Dennis Allen is fired as Raiders HC. — Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) September 29, 2014
Which means, who knows? I guess it’s not official until Schefter says it is.
END OF UPDATE.
According to Terry Collins, Dennis Allen is out as head coach of the Oakland Raiders.
My sources tell me that @RAIDERS head coach Dennis Allen is fired and an announcement could come as soon as Tuesday — Terry Collins (@APtcollins) September 29, 2014
The Raiders are, of course, off to another horrendous start this season. They’re 0-4 and coming off a 38-14 loss at the hands of the Miami Dolphins. You gotta think this is the first time an NFL coach has been fired in a different country in the middle of the season, which leads us to this great point:
kinda fucked up that the raiders are lane kiffining dennis allen in another country — Lana Berry (@Lana) September 29, 2014
If what Collins is reporting is true, Allen’s final win/loss record with the Raiders will be 8-27. Ouch. [Terry Collins] [content_block id=134239]
