Horrifying news coming out of Kansas City this morning as multiple sources are reporting that 4th year Chiefs Linebacker Jovan Belcher killed his girlfriend and then drove to the Chiefs practice facility and killed himself in the parking lot in front of the team’s Head Coach and General Manager.
Belcher played his college ball for the University of Maine Black Bears and grew up in Long Island, NY. More updates on this story are sure to come.

UPDATE: More terrible news confirmed by ESPN. Belcher and his girlfriend leave behind a baby. Belcher’s mother was visiting and witnessed the murder.
