The Ravens unveiled a statue of the controversial Ray Lewis outside of M&T Bank Stadium on Thursday morning and while many still love the future Hall of Famer, the man’s off-the-field legacy remains one of the most controversial in sports history.
Unless you’re living under a rock, you should recall that Lewis was cleared of murder chargers stemming from the January 2000 murders of Jacinth Baker and Richard Lollar in Atlanta. Some have chosen to forgive Lewis but many remember the very cloudy details that plagued the case and continue to voice their displeasure with him:
