Manish Mehta of the the NY Daily News reports that there was some nastiness going on between Pacman Jones of the Bengals and David Nelson of the Jets on Sunday. Jones allegedly “made it clear that Nelson would face repercussions for what he perceived as dirty play even if it meant taking matters into his own hands off the field.”
‘I’m going to find out where you live and come and get you,’ is what Jones said to Nelson according to sources, which would undoubtedly be considered crossing the line. Jones has had numerous run-ins with the law so this shouldn’t be the most surprising of accusations.
Jones acknowledged Nelson’s dirty play at least:
(Nelson) was playing dirty. He cut me like four times after the play. Thank God I took my medicine today – I guess – and I didn’t go off. Hopefully, he’ll get fined. At least three fines. There were three real cheap shots after the play.
Well at least the world can rest assured that Pacman Jones is taking his medicine. But what do we think? True or not true? Wouldn’t be surprised either way.
