Cleveland Browns superstar running back Nick Chubb saw his season come to an abrupt end early in the season when he suffered a season-ending knee injury during a game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. But it sounds like the team does plan to bring him back next season, though it might be on a restructured contract.
After Nick Chubb underwent multiple surgeries to repair damage to his ACL, MCL, and meniscus after the brutal knee injury, he is expected to be able to return to the team at some point during the 2024 season. And it sounds like the team is committed to restructuring his contract in a way that makes sense, given the uncertainty of his availability.
“Nobody wants to see that carry in Pittsburgh be the last time he carries the ball for the Cleveland Browns. We will, obviously, work to keep him on the team,” Cleveland Browns general manager Andrew Berry said according to 92.3 The Fan.

Chubb’s current contract is set to pay him $11.775 million for the 2024 season. But with his injury making his status a little more uncertain, it seems like the Browns would like to adjust that number.
But it’s quite clear that the team does want him back next season.
