After a brief hiatus, the New York Jets gave the starting quarterback job back to Geno Smith after some uninspiring performances by Michael Vick.
However, the Jets reportedly didn’t want to highlight the fact that Geno was back under center. So on Monday night, AT HOME, the Jets “conveniently” skipped over introducing Geno Smith to the Jets faithful before the Jets’ game against the Miami Dolphins.
And by convienently, I mean they did it completely on purpose to spare Geno some boos.
Jets introduced offensive starters…. except Geno Smith. Interesting… and odd. #nyj

Jets apparently concerned that Geno Smith would have been booed by the home crowd in introductions. Again, sad. #nyj

Sad indeed. The Jets are afraid of their own damn fans.
