Veteran offensive lineman La’el Collins has not played in a game since suffering a major knee injury with the Cincinnati Bengals back in 2022, but it sounds like he’s ready to bounce back in a big way with the Buffalo Bills this upcoming season.
Collins admitted that there were times where he felt that he “might not come back” as he fought to return to full health after the devastating knee injury, but now that he has signed with the Buffalo Bills, it sounds like he’s ready to prove himself and return to the field.
“They brought me here to play football and I came here to dominate and I’m going to let everything else take care of itself,” Collins said according to Jonathan Acosta of WGRZ. “I’m going to show up every day and go to work. Help the young guys, and do whatever they ask me. I’m super grateful and I just look forward to giving Bills Mafia everything left in me. I’m ready to go ball. I’m ready to go dominate.”
The Bills return starting left tackle Dion Dawkins and right tackle Spencer Brown, so it will be interesting to see where Collins fits in on the offensive line. Regardless, he is ready to play and compete.
