Dan Snyder’s Original American Foundation, the organization that was made to seemingly placate people who find his team’s name to be racist, went to Zuni, New Mexico today to pander to buy some Native art. The organization stated that they would give “preference” to those pieces of art which displayed Washington’s logo and team colors because barely disguised bribery is better PR than outright bribery.
In a display of comedic genius, the 1491’s, a group of Native American sketch comedians, came up with their own piece of art which meets all of the preferential criteria set forth by Snyder’s OAF. Entitled “The Washington Foreskins”, the piece is adorned in Washington’steam colors and features an obvious homage to the team’s logo. Unfortunately, the group couldn’t be in Zuni to present its masterpiece but they put out word asking others to showcase their work to Snyder’s organization.It has everything that Dan Snyder wants so hopefully this’ll end up in his office, hanging proudly above his head.
