Things are going better than expected for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Steelers started the season 4-2 before shockingly benching Justin Fields for veteran quarterback Russell Wilson on Saturday night. The move paid dividends, though.
The Steelers improved to 5-2 after defeating Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets 37-15. The team scored a season-high in points, and the passing game looked much more lethal behind the arm of Wilson. Wilson wasn’t the only Steeler to excel against the Jets.
Steelers running back Najee Harris dominated on the night as well. Harris ran for 21 yards and a touchdown on the evening, helping the team put the game on ice during its final drive. It was after the game that the young star made a major mistake.
In his post-game press conference, a reporter told Harris that he “played “possessed” in the game and Harris responded with the highly racially charged “n-word.”
“Oh [expletive] shoutout my [n-word] though!”

Fans reacted to the shocking lapse in judgment online.
“You could see him go from wanting to laugh to thinking about the fine,” one fan said on Twitter.
“Started thinkin bout how many figures dat fine boutta be,” one fan said.
“The reporter should’ve asked about the fine right then and there,” one fan added.
“The Bay Area came outta bro for a second,” one fan added.
Hopefully, Harris will learn his lesson before episodes like this threaten to derail his career.
