The mysterious case of a missing Denver Broncos fan has been solved thanks to a few local tips. In a bizarre story that made national headlines, Paul Kitterman (above, second from left) traveled from Ketterling, Colorado to attend the Broncos-Chargers game on Sunday along with his son and two friends.
Following a halftime visit with a different group of friends in another area of the stadium, Kitterman never returned to his seats. The 53-year-old was not carrying a cell phone or credit cards and left no trace of where he’d gone. Family and friends scoured the stadium and surrounding area, contacting hospitals, jails and other establishments in search of him, but came up empty for over 48 hours.
The case was solved on Tuesday night when local tips led police to Pueblo, Colorado, a city nearly two hours south of Denver along I-25. Upon being located, Kitterman told police that he hitchhiked south and said he “had his fill of football” and “wanted to travel to someplace warm”.
His family is thrilled that he is safe and has asked for privacy as they attempt to sort out the strange disappearance.
