The Pittsburgh Steelers are on a four-game losing streak heading into Saturday’s matchup against the Baltimore Ravens in the divisional round of the playoffs. If the Steelers fail to win on Saturday, it will mark yet another year in which head coach Mike Tomlin has failed to secure a single playoff victory.
On Monday, one Steelers sports reporter put into perspective just how bleak things have been as of late in the Steel City with Tomlin at the helm.
“Here is an even better perspective – Jim Harbaugh spent the last ten years coaching in college and he still has more NFL playoff wins (5) than Mike Tomlin (3) since 2010,” tweeted the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s Paul Zeise.

Fans reacted to the brutal context of Tomlin’s struggles on social media.
“I hear Doug Pederson is available. He’s a Super Bowl winning coach. He went 42-37-1 in philly and he did wonders for Carson Wentz and Trevor Lawrence (at least for 2 seasons),” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“It is about to be 14 years with only 3 playoff wins for Tomlin,” one fan added.
“Every year Steeler fans go through this exercise. Ownership will never give up on Mike T,” another fan added.
“how embarrassing for Mediocre Mike. Not going to feel sorry for him though. Steelers have made him very rich & apparently they owe him not just a job but an entire career,” added a fan.
It’ll be interesting to see if there are any consequences for Tomlin should he fall flat again.
