Superstar wide receiver Mike Evans is set to become a free agent next month after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers did not use their franchise tag on him this offseason. And as he prepares to enter that free agent market, it sounds like he already as a pretty good idea of what he will be looking for in a team.
According to his agent, Mike Evan will be looking for a team with strong quarterback play that could contend for a Super Bowl – and he wants to be paid like an elite receiver.
“Mike wants to play with an elite quarterback in an offense that will showcase him — and be paid like a top wide receiver. He doesn’t want to play with a rookie QB. Winning a Super Bowl is a key priority,” Evans’ agent Deryk Gilmore told NFL insider Jordan Schultz of Bleacher Report.

Obviously, these are some pretty clear demands from Evans as he eyes his future in the league, and the NFL world had a lot to say about it on social media.

There’s a chance that Tampa Bay could meet these requirements if Baker Mayfield returns or they sign a different star quarterback, but Evans has made it clear what he’s looking for.
