Former New Orleans Saints superstar wide receiver Michael Thomas was one of the best receivers in the NFL before injuries derailed his career beginning in 2020, and it sounds like he has a problem with the team’s medical staff.
On Tuesday morning, Michael Thomas replied to a post from New Orleans Saints beat writer, Mike Triplett, where Triplett shared the news that Saints right tackle Ryan Ramczyk isn’t progressing as well as head coach Dennis Allen hoped after a knee injury. In his post, Thomas appeared to call out the Saints’ medical staff.
“it’s like he uses the same line and just changes the players name as if there isnt a team doctor and trainers on staff that have nothing to do with it. They trying to protect them as much as possible but hey don’t mind me I don’t work there no more. But that’s the real problem,” Thomas said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

Thomas was once one of the league’s most productive wide receivers through his first few seasons in the league, hauling in a record 149 passes in 2019. But injuries have since derailed his career. Thomas played just seven games in 2020 before missing the entire 2021 season due to an injury. He then played just three games in 2022 and then 10 games in 2023.
And it sounds like he’s not necessarily happy with the training staff.
