Michael Sam has some thoughts on his former team moving to Los Angeles.
TMZ caught up with Sam, who was drafted by the St. Louis Rams in the 2014 NFL draft’s final round, and asked him about his reaction to the team’s move out west. Sam cracked a joke about renaming the team and bringing in an interesting choice for a head coach:
“So, here’s the thing. I was talking to Stan Kroenke and said we’re going to change the name of the team,” Sam said. “We’re gonna call it the L.A. Samsonites. And Caitlyn Jenner’s gonna be the head coach, so I know for sure I’m gonna be on the damn team. It’s a done deal.”
Sam also stated he’d love to play in L.A., or anywhere for that matter.
