Ohio State Buckeyes superstar wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. is at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis to meet with teams, but he will not be performing any drills. And it sounds like he won’t be talking with the media, either.
Marvin Harrison Jr. was expected to speak with the media during his scheduled press conference at 8:20 a.m. on Friday, but he didn’t actually show up.
“An NFL spokesman told reporters that #OSU WR Marvin Harrison Jr. won’t talk to the media at his previously scheduled 8:20 am press conference,” Rapoport said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

Denver radio host Ryan Edwards added a little more context, revealing that there were a lot of reporters waiting for him before they were told he wasn’t there for the interviews.
Weird deal. Huge crowd in front of his podium and the spokesperson came out to say he wasn’t there and had no idea if/when he would be available https://t.co/bsyhUH9bK7

It’s obviously some pretty shocking news from one of the draft’s top prospects, and it led toa lot of reactions on social media.

It’s not clear why Harrison skipped his interviews or if he’ll speak to the media at another point.
