X-rays on Eagles RB LeSean McCoy’s thumb came back negative, the team released on Thursday night. According to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Enquirer, the injury is a sprain with no torn ligaments and his availability for the remainder of the preseason is unclear.

Eagles running back LeSean McCoy abruptly left their preseason game tonight against the Steelers with an apparent thumb injury. Cameras showed the stud fantasy back leaving the field without his helmet following a touchdown:
CBS Sports is reporting that the Eagles sent McCoy to the locker room for x-rays on his thumb. While the news is far from an ACL tear, those who have already drafted him or planned to use a keeper pick on McCoy are sweating bullets.
