Over the past few seasons, the Cincinnati Bengals and the Baltimore Ravens have ignited quite a rivalry in the AFC North as the two teams typically jockey for the lead in the division with two of the best quarterbacks in the league with Joe Burrow and Lamar Jackson leading the way for their teams. But that rivalry had a defector this week, and Jackson is not at all happy about it.
On Monday, the Cincinnati Bengals and former Baltimore Ravens safety Geno Stone came to terms on a two-year deal with $15 million to help bolster the team’s secondary with one of the better available safeties on the market. But Lamar Jackson was clearly not happy with the idea of his former teammate leaving to join the Bengals.
“You’re Dead to us, You’re Dead to me,” Jackson said to Geno Stone in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter

Stone spent the vast majority of his career with the Ravens after the team selected him in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He spent a brief stint with the Houston Texans in 2020 after briefly parting ways with the Ravens, but he returned for the 2021 season and emerged as a key contributor for the team.
It’s clear that Jackson will not be happy to see him on the opposing sideline next season.
