This offseason, veteran running back Josh Jacobs joined the Green Bay Packers as a free agent, and it sounds like he is already quite impressed with what he has seen from his new quarterback.
During a recent interview on the NFL Network, Josh Jacobs did not hold back his praise for his new quarterback as he indicated that he thinks that Jordan Love could be “the next superstar” in the NFL.
“To me, just from what I’ve seen, he has all the traits and all the tools to be a superstar in this league,” Jacobs said according to NFL.com. “I think that as he keeps continuing to play and gets experience and becomes more confident in his abilities and what he can do, he’s going to be the next superstar in this league, for sure.”
Jacobs is joining the Packers this season after leading the entire league in rushing last season with the Las Vegas Raiders. Love, meanwhile, burst onto the scene during his first season as a starter and looks poised to build on that next season.
We’ll have to see how Jacobs is able to further augment what is already a pretty dominant Green Bay Packers offense this season.
