The Buffalo Bills and Stefon Diggs had a tumultuous relationship during his time with the team. But as the Bills get set to take on Diggs and the Texans this week, it’s pretty clear there’s no bad blood between Diggs and Bills quarterback Josh Allen.
During a press conference on Wednesday ahead of their Sunday matchup, Josh Allen did not hold back his true thoughts about Stefon Diggs as he made it clear that he still holds Diggs in high esteem.
“I’ve got a lot of love for [Diggs],” Allen told reporters on Wednesday according to Pro Football Talk.
“I still do. The things that he did for me in my career, and the things that he did in a Buffalo Bill uniform won’t be forgotten anytime soon, especially from me.”
Allen and Diggs were quite the duo during their time together in Buffalo.
In their four seasons together in Buffalo, Diggs accounted for more than 1,000 receiving yards every year.
Diggs is now off to a strong start in Houston as he catches passes from C.J. Stroud, catching 25 passes for 233 yards and two touchdowns.
We’ll have to see which side ultimately comes out on top in Sunday’s matchup.
