Kansas City Chiefs superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes is already one of the most accomplished players in the history of the league before he’s even reached his 30th birthday, and he’s attracting a ton of attention from stars in other sports, including golf.
This week, PGA Tour superstar Jordan Spieth had some pretty high praise for Patrick Mahomes not just for what he’s accomplished, but for how entertaining he is to watch play the game, comparing him to a kid playing football at recess.
“He looks like a kid playing at recess. All the different throwing motions, just having so much fun. The coolest thing for me is he’s such a different style of quarterback from Tom Brady, who is so methodical. Mahomes and Josh Allen, they’re like kids playing ball on the playground. It’s great to watch,” Spieth said, according to Peter King in his Football Morning in America column for Pro Football Talk.
For as fun as he is to watch, he’s also on pace to become one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time as well after he just became the second quarterback ever to win three Super Bowl championships before turning 29 years old, joining only Tom Brady.
