Former college football star and NFL quarterback Johnny Manziel has been very publically open about some of the struggles throughout his personal life once his NFL career didn’t exactly pan out. But in the relationship department, it appears that he has a new fling with the daughter of a very famous MLB superstar of the past.
The former Heisman Trophy winner hasn’t played in the NFL since 2015. But that doesn’t mean that he is out of the spotlight from the public eye.
According to TMZ, Manziel posted pictures on his Instagram, both on a flight and at a concert, with Josie Canseco, the daughter of former MLB star José Canseco, where the two certainly appeared to be quite close.

José Canseco is of course remembered for his 17-year MLB career where he earned eight All-Star game honors and an MVP award back in 1988. But much like Manziel, his career also carried controversy, as he was of course very publically linked to steroids after his playing career was done.
According to TMZ, Manziel has been linked to Josie Canseco for months now, but hasn’t featured on her Instagram page until today.
It’s not exactly a statement saying that the two are dating. But you can certainly put two and two together and say that they very well may be on their way to being a full-on couple if they aren’t already.
