Joe Burrow Syndication: The Enquirer

Cincinnati Bengals star quarterback Joe Burrow missed a significant chunk of the season last year with a wrist injury, but it sounds like he’s going to return to the field for the team this preseason.

According to Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic, Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor announced that Joe Burrow had been cleared for full contract and that he expects him to play for the team this preseason.

“Zac Taylor says he expects Joe Burrow (and all starters) to play at some point this preseason. Burrow has been fully cleared for contact. Said he will continue to be proactive in easing him through camp with eyes on being in top form closer to season,” Dehner said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

Obviously, this is a pretty significant announcement from the Bengals given how important Burrow is to the team’s success, and it led to a lot of reactions on social media.

When Burrow is healthy, he has proven that he is one of the most dominant quarterbacks in the league. We’ll have to see whether or not he can stay healthy this season.
