The Cincinnati Bengals have a big game this weekend against the Baltimore Ravens, and star quarterback Joe Burrow knows it.
During his press conference ahead of Sunday’s showdown with the Ravens, Joe Burrow sent a pretty clear message to the Bengals about just how they will have to perform.
“You’ve got to be aggressive out the gate,” Burrow said Wednesday according to NFL.com. “You can’t let the game come to you because your possessions are going to be so limited. I’m gonna have to play [darn] near perfect. That’s how I’m preparing, so it’s an exciting opportunity.”
Burrow did not hold back in describing the importance of the game as he made it clear that the Bengals “need” to get a win.
“It’s a big game, it’s a big game. We know what our record is,” Burrow continued. “We know the opportunities we have going forward, but it’s our first divisional opponent. We’re 1–3. We need to get this one. it’s a big game for the Bengals.”
The Bengals began the season 0-3 with losses to the New England Patriots, Kansas City Chiefs, and the Washington Commanders.
Cincinnati got its first win of the season last week against the Carolina Panthers.
We’ll have to see if they can start a bit of a winning streak this week against the Ravens.
