The Kansas City Chiefs are your back-to-back Super Bowl champions. And on Friday, the Chiefs went on their celebratory White House visit for the second year in a row, featuring a funny blunder from U.S. President Joe Biden.

Biden seemed quite jovial to be hosting the Chiefs for a second straight time, as he was seen cracking jokes all afternoon with the likes of Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes, and Andy Reid.

At the end of the trip, Biden issued a speech to the Chiefs team to congratulate them on the dynasty that they appear to be building.

Biden then attempted to do his best Lee Corso impression, attempting to pick up a Chiefs helmet and put it on his head to show his support of the team. However, he completely forgot that he was wearing sunglasses. So naturally, the helmet didn’t quite fit on the first attempt.

With assistance, Biden was able to take the sunglasses off and put on the helmet, which was followed by a number of cheers from the Chiefs roster as you may expect.

Naturally, there were plenty of jokes about this brief failure from Biden on social media.

It remains to be seen whether Biden will see the Chiefs in the future for White House visits. That of course requires that the Chiefs continue their winning ways and that Biden is able to retain his presidency in the upcoming 2024 election against Donald Trump.

But considering all the controversy surrounding Trump at the moment, it may be a bit early to write off that possibility.
