The New York Jets had a disappointing 2024 season that saw them go 5-12 and earn rights to the number seven overall pick in this spring’s NFL Draft despite the presence of multiple-time MVP winner Aaron Rodgers. Through the draft, free agency, and shakeups to its coaching staff, New York is looking to get things back on track in 2025.
A total cultural turnaround and staff overhaul after this year’s disaster of a season aren’t the only things Jets fans have to look forward to, according to one prominent league insider.
“Jets are playing a regular-season game in 2025 in London,” reported ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Friday morning.

Fans reacted to the news on social media.
“Imagine trying to grow the game in other countries and you decide to send the jets over to get them interested in football,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“Why I feel like they gonna take that cowboys jets game away from us New Yorkers since they never play over here anyways,” another fan added.
“NFL trying to grow the league around the world by giving them Jets vs Browns is hilarious,” one fan added.
“Worst team in the league vs the worst food in the world. A match made in heaven,” one person added.
It’ll be interesting to see how many Jets fans make the trip over the pond.
