The New York Jets are desperate to turn things around after the Aaron Rodgers era has been a complete failure. Head coach Robert Saleh was relieved of his duties mid-season, and things haven’t improved since his firing.
While it’s unknown whether or not Rodgers will be back in New York, the team is already looking for its next head coach and is making a major move on Friday, per one prominent NFL insider.
“The Jets are interviewing former Titans coach Mike Vrabel today at their facility, source confirms (as Zack Blatt said). Vrabel’s contract with the Browns expired this week, making him available to interview,” reported ESPN’s Rich Cimini.

Fans reacted to the news on social media.
“If they want Vrabel don’t let him out the door…make him an offer he can’t refuse…That’s how it’s done…if not move onto Flores But make Mike know 24 hours… to get the keys to the Kingdom,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“If he works out the door, he won’t sign up with the Jets!! The Jets need someone to change the culture!! It’s the first thing! Woody if this is your number one guy , don’t let him leave without signing the contract,” added another fan.
“Probably won’t happen, but someone can dream/hope. No matter what, we’ll find a way to screw this up,” one fan added.
It’ll be interesting to see if the Jets can secure Vrabel.
