Either Jerry Jones is trying to instill confidence in frustrated Dallas fans or the longtime owner and general manager just really, really, really loves his backup quarterback.
Tony Romo became the second Cowboys star to suffer a major injury during the 2015 season after the quarterback broke his collarbone in Week 2 and although Dallas is 2-0, there are serious questions about the team’s offense. It remains unclear how long they’ll be without both Romo and Bryant but most projections have it at 6-8 weeks, meaning Brandon Weeden could carry the team’s hopes for the next two months. But, according to Jones, that might not be the worst thing.
Jerry Jones on @1053thefan: Brandon Weeden is "a thing of beauty throwing the football. Frankly, you won't see a more gifted passer."

Yes, Weeden has an above average arm and throws a good ball but calling him the most gifted passer in the league (because that’s what he implied) is completely ridiculous. We admire the confidence and support for Weeden but come on Jerry.
