On Friday afternoon, the Kansas City Chiefs got the opportunity to celebrate their Super Bowl LVIII victory at the White House with United States President Joe Biden for the second year in a row. While it was undoubtedly a special trip for everyone, it was extra special for Travis Kelce.
During last year’s visit to the White House, Travis Kelce jokingly stepped up to the president’s microphone as if he was going to say something before he was quickly stopped by Patrick Mahomes as part of the bit. So when Kelce and the Chiefs returned this year, Joe Biden decided to give Kelce the chance to actually speak.
“I’d have Travis come up here, but I don’t know what he’d say,” Biden joked. “Travis, come here. It’s all yours, pal.”

“My fellow Americans, it’s nice to see you all yet again,” Kelce said before quickly ending his time at the microphone with a joke.
“I’m not gonna lie, President Biden, they told me if I came up here I would get tased,” Kelce said. “So I’m gonna go back to my spot, alright?”
It was a hilarious moment, and it elicited quite a reaction from Kelce’s brother, Jason Kelce.
Man, Im not gonna lie, that was tight. Well done @tkelce, doesn’t get much cooler than that! https://t.co/v5dDsanrpS

“Man, Im not gonna lie, that was tight. Well done [Travis], doesn’t get much cooler than that!” Jason Kelce said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.
Travis got his opportunity and he clearly made the most of it.
