Although the game between the Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs has mostly lived up to Thursday Night Football’s sloppy reputation, when Jamaal Charles gets the ball, good things can happen.
In the second quarter of the game, Charles took a hand off from Alex Smith and, with one cut-back, romped all the way to the end zone, proving once again that the Chiefs offense basically begins and ends with him.
At the time of his score, Charles had 73 yards rushing on eight carries. At the same time, Alex Smith had passed the ball for 51 yards in eight passing attempts.
