It’s safe to say that Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott did not have his best game during Sunday afternoon’s Wild Card round showdown with the Green Bay Packers as he threw two interceptions. One of those went to Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander in the first half of the game, and he had some strong words for Prescott after the game.
During the postgame press conference, Jaire Alexander had a pretty brutal message for Dak Prescott, saying that the Dallas Cowboys quarterback is now “among my top QBs” after he’s now thrown him multiple interceptions in his career.
“It was lit, honestly. There was no better feeling,” Alexander said according to the Green Bay Packers official team website. “There’s a few quarterbacks who’ve thrown me multiple picks in my career and Dak is now one of them. So he’s among my top QBs.”
The interception set up a Packers touchdown that put the team up 14-0 as they went on to beat the Cowboys in a blowout.
It’s clearly a moment that Alexander will remember for quite some time, and it’s probably one Prescott won’t soon forget either. But obviously, each player will remember the moment for very different reasons.
