The Green Bay Packers do not have any questions at the top of the depth chart at the quarterback position with Jordan Love returning to lead the team after a prolific first season as a starter. But the team brought in a new quarterback this week in an attempt to add some depth to the game’s most important position.

According to a report from league insider Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Green Bay Packers have brought in veteran quarterback Jake Fromm for a workout as they consider whether or not to sign him to the roster.

“Free agent QB Jake Fromm worked out for the #Packers today, source said. The former #Commanders, #Giants and #Bills backup would be a potential pre-camp addition,” Rapoport said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

Obviously, Fromm would not be expected to compete for the starting role and would just join the team to add depth to the roster, but the news still led to a lot of reactions on social media.

We’ll have to see whether or not the team ultimately decides to sign the former Georgia Bulldogs star quarterback.
