After last night’s debacle in the backfield, the New York Giants are bringing in a slew of veteran free agent running backs in hopes that somebody, anybody, can run the football without fumbling.
Among the group of vets the G-Men will have in for a tryout is former Giant and two-time Super Bowl Champion Brandon Jacobs. Jacobs’ Giants career was a roller coaster ride full of ups-and-downs but his (sometimes) physical play and boisterous swagger might be exactly what Big Blue’s backfield needs.
This seems like an opportune time to revisit one of the greatest touchdown celebrations of all-time. Occurring during the 2008 NFC Divisional Round against Dallas, Jacobs displays his trademark brute force and eff you attitude in one simple action.
