As Ezekiel Elliott and the National Football League continue to battle in the courts over his suspension of six games, damning information is leaking out about the player. Elliott had multiple moments over the course of the past season that indicated a pattern of misconduct.
One such moment was a St. Patricks Day parade where Elliott can be seen pulling down the top of a woman. The incident was cited in a report given to the NFL this was one of the multiple incidents that show a distinct pattern.
Elliott doesn’t believe he has done anything wrong though as he said to the NFL that he had “consent” to pull down her shirt. He said that she “wanted” him to. Later on, Elliott stated while being cross examined that she had not said it was okay before hand but later on stated that she was okay with it.
According to TMZ, he said that she “wanted” him to. Later on, Elliott stated while being cross examined that she had not said it was okay before hand but later on stated that she was okay with it.
The NFL apparently pressed him on the issue and asked if that was what he thought consent meant. A TMZ source says that Elliott stated, “I mean, I think consensual to me means it’s wanted. I mean it’s okay.”
Elliott also went on to say that the two had sex later that night and then at a later date, which he believes means he didn’t do anything wrong.
Now that the NFLPA and Elliott are bringing in more fire power to fight the league, meaning the appeal will only continue to grow in size and scope. Both sides are standing their ground.
